Our current projects We raise money in a variety of different ways which we use to fund our projects all focused on research into spinal cord paralysis. In particular we are interested in the in the ‘here and now’ issues and how we can exploit the latest technology to facilitate quality of life measures for those living with tetraplegia and paraplegia.
We are currently sponsoring four projects which in outline are:
1. Development and Testing of an Ergometer for an Experiment in Functional Recovery.

2. Development of a Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Device for the Promotion of Hand Function in incomplete tetraplegia.

3. The Feasibility of FES-rowing in Spinal Cord Injury: can the pattern of leg loading increase bone density?

4. Hospital and home-based feasibility study of an iCYCLE for functional recovery after incomplete spinal cord injury:
