Henrik Gollee

Henrik Gollee is a Senior Lecturer in Rehabilitation and Control Engineering at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow. He graduated from the Technical University Berlin, Germany, in 1995, and was awarded his Ph.D. degree from the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, U.K., in 1998. He is a founding member of the Scottish Centre for Innovation in Spinal Cord Injury, based at the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit, Glasgow. His research interests include computational modelling of human motor control and learning with applications in assistive technologies and rehabilitation. A focus of his work is in spinal cord injury rehabilitation where he has worked on developing neuromuscular stimulation systems with applications ranging from cycling exercise to systems supporting respiratory function.
